I have a HP Pavilion zv6000, and the coolers WON'T STOP RUNNING.
It wasn't always like this, but it's such a loud machine now!

Is there any way to fix it?

You mean the fans inside of it?

There could be many things wrong, how old is the machine?

You could also buy some new fans and see if that fixes it, their cheep.

The fans could be getting old and making noise for some reason or other, or they could be running into a cable inside the pc, also a pc component could be overheating causing the fans to run full power.

You'll need to find out what part is overheating, then you'll probably need to replace the part.

at 52 C the processor doesn't seem too hot, the hard drive does seem to be too a little hot though, The recommended temperatures for most hdd's is 20-40, mine runs at about 23, what kind of cooling do you have for your computer? is there a fan cooling the harddrive, or air ports of some sort?

Now that I think about it, the HDD is overheating. When I feel the bottom of the laptop, it is the harddrive that is heating up.

Hmm, and there doesn't seem to be any cooling of the HD.
    You're right.

How would I go about cooling it off?

well this happened to my graphics card a while ago the fan was burnt out so i ended up upgradign to a new one, but the point is just deal with it, the fans could be al itlte dusty, hitting somthing. try shutting it off for a period of about 3 hours and then see if it does it. its not that bad if its running at full blast, but if it makes a "Mrrrrrrrrrrrrr" noise then you got a problem.

All it sounds like is your fans running and its noisy and you want if off. ever consider its not at full power? ever try shutting off useless things ro logging off other users on the machine? if its the HP Pavillion you should be able to use the warrenty or talk to a computer tech.
