you can potentially unlock 8 pipelines on the XT, computer kid really now... you're comparing half a 6800 to 3/4ths of a real x800 - kind of unfair. also BF2142 is one fo those few games which is a bit more ATi friendly. then take into account the fact that it renders a lot of exrta things through SM3 which adds onto the complexity of the scene.

bf2142 is a directX game and favors the r420/r480 architectures over the nv40 architecture. that's a bad example. why don't you compare DOOMIII again certent architectures have their strengths and weeknesses, don't blatenly say one chip sucks over the other. especially when you're comparing the crippled from of one chip to the only half crippled form of the other. I'm sure the performance disparity between the two would be much lower if both chips were compared with all pipelines unlocked. now, I'd still recomend the x800GTO over the 6800XT, it's just be realistic, it's not exactly a night and day thing in most scenarios. devestation- be 'careful' or he'll minus rep you, hes done it to me 3 time(twice in the same topic, and once for supposedly yelling at a newb[note the newb later repped me since i was helpping him]) he also -reps people for things like their taste in music or stating their political affiliation.

Computer kid; start making good comparisations and don't just post stuff you don't know about (I remember you recommend a 3800+, not even a x2 to someone while c2d was about to get released, just based on the point 'AMD is better'. I think a x800GTO will be better for Corrupt now, just not based on the fact 'ati is better'. However, it also might be a good idea if your psu is stong enough to get a x1950pro, it depends on what the specs of your computer is. If its good enough, that card will play almost everygame on high and then you can buy a complete new pc when you have to. Also, I'm sure you have heard this earlyer but please' Typ out your DAMN words and make correct sentences, you make it hard for everyone to read your text and makes everybody thinks you're a 11 year old child who doesn't know how to use proper english. Ck, it's not necessarily that you're wrong, it's that you often neglect the big picture, or state invalid reasons. I can understand having a preference towards one company. I prefer having the most money left over for the best performance at the end of the day though also, last time I checked I don't have a life. I have 3 AP classes a 20+ hour a week job and am currently wrestling. When i get home from school/work at 8:30PM I'm usually too tired to do much save for sit in front of a computer. On the otherhand, everyone knows me, when i do have time off I'm always hanging out with someone, and during the summer I partied almost every week. ohh, I also stayed below 10% bodyfat the last few years(or rather the entirety of my life) I'm at a diferent school and the superlative nominations were the second week of the year, I got runner up for best body despite that fact that half the senior class didn't know me. I also appreciate the personal attack, especially when you consider that you had nothing to base it upon other than that fact I research into computers a lot. Ever consider that during the last two years I had atleast one class which was a free period and in that free period(yearbook and this year english[w/ the computer teacher]) I actually checked on products since I was building systems or in the process of upgrading during this time. I also have recommended things to several friends so I know the approximate standing of atleast a few things. and unlike you I've actually bought and paid for most of the things which I recommend - WITH MY OWN HARD EARNED MONEY. I am sometimes wrong, but I'd like to think that I am right most of the time. Also, even if you've always hated me as you said, you at the very least respected em at one point otherwise you wouldn't have had both john and myself on your so called respect list.
