hi. im thinking about getting a new graphics card since my GeForce4 Mx420 is kind of out of date. im not rolling in bank so i need one for around 100-150 USD. any suggestions? thanks
What are your computers specs? I assume it's an AGP card, and that your power supply can handle a more powerfull card. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814150157 looks like a good card for the price
I'm gonna guess that it's using AGP interface (I had one of those cards and it was AGP. I think the Gefore 5 series was the first to use PCI-e). So you'd proabaly be better saving up more and getting a motherboard with PCi-e, but if you don't want to any one of these cards should work
if u have an PCI-E slot, try getting an eVGA Geforce 7600GS, it's $150 but I think it's cheaper at newegg.com
mine is PCI-E. i got my box from dell like maybe 5 years ago and i dont know what my power supply specs are..
Oh you have some better choices for PCI-e you could get a 7600 GT for 130$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814130062
its 70$ at newegg por something liek that, regardless the 7600GT which is much better is 109 my suggestion is either an x1600pro or a 7600GS, check newegg
.. a 6800XT = Bad .... x800GTO = Good x800GTO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814102065 u get more performance if u get ati. and XT omg its ----ty trash my bro owns the same one and can only play 2142 and BF2 on med settings (without lag) x800GTO which i own the same one i posted above runs 2142 and BF2 on maxx out settings with no lag once so ever best upgrade i ever did!
