I Cant Delete A File

i try to delete a certain file and it says "cannot delete specified file it is being used by windows"
then:
"cannot remove the directory is not empty"
how can i delete it?

 

sometimes i doens't let me delete it

then i turn off my pc and try to delete it again, then it works for me!

 

Another shorter way is open up your task manager and find your program name in process area. End its process than you can delete it.

if that didn't worked, try to scan your computer, maybe you got a virus?

 

Boot into safe mode by pressing f8 when your PC is starting up and selecting safe mode from the list that appears. When it boots into safe mode delete the file. That should definitely work

i have a similar problem: but it's on my hand held, it kinda happend after i uhh, downloaded some pr0n, hentai to be exact. then when i went to delete it, the whole thing just freezes up, and i have to do a soft reset. even when i jsut try and change one of the files in the directory.

i was lucky i always save to a secondary, directory, otherwise the entire thing would be useless to me now

anyway, i still have not fixed this problem, and didnt want to make a whole new thread, since this was already pretty close to the same problem. thx if u can help me or him.

EDIT: i fixed my problem, just had to flash the ROM, wasnt a virus afterall .

 

The file is probably corrupted. There are some programes that delete this stuff.
