Whenever I turn on my computer it loads pretty quick, but whenever it gets to the log on screen (the screen with the usernames) it stays blank for almost 3 minutes until my username comes up, makes me not want to turn off my computer,lol. Can anyone help?

Running Windows Xp Home Edition with 68.8GB free and 111.GB in total, 502MB of RAM, dunno how to look at the rest of the things, thats all I know right now.
I would just turn it off unless you really want it 1. Click Start and Run 2. Type "Control Userpasswords2" and press enter. 3. Uncheck the box for "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer." 4. Click Apply and Ok.
