dang dude xbox owns, they got Halo series and Gears of war... what does sony own that xbox doesn't own that is any better then those two games??? i think xbox is just owning right now and giving the gamers good quality games unstead of like ps for the most part coming out with millions of games and 75% aren't so hot. i'm not dissing ps3 but im just saying they oughta make a real sick game, i know they have killzone but i honestly don't think tis that great, umm they had FF for awhile till they sold it to xbox also.. so what do they have?? that can compare to gears of war and halo? cheers
Playstation has Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts, and a few others. But yeah XBOX does kick major ass. I already beat Gears of War .
Yeah I mean with the PS3 it is hard to talk about, "they have this" when the games usually come to other consoles. Overall, PS3 has the most diverse lineup of 3rd party and 1st party titles, but in terms of titles that have a huge following and move consoles...I can see Xbox 360 having a much stronger position. I mean MGS4 is going to rule, as is KH3, and FF. But the problem is these are older more mature franchises that a lot of people have already experience. Also these franchises sometimes don't deliver (how long have we been waiting for FFXII?). You can think MS, and the first games that pop into one's head is Halo, Gears. You think Nintendo and Mario and Link and Metroid pop into your head. You think PS3 and it takes a second to go MGS4...and so far that is all the PS3 has going for it.
Well I'm gonna go ahead and say that fall of man is damn good watch the ign review on it, there are some features on it that own the weaponry on gears of war, the gameplay is fun, and the AI is much better on FOM than GOW. Personally I am waiting for them to bring Half Life 2 revised on ps3, let's see exclusively for ps3 the new Star wars jedi game that's almost done has a new physics engine for it that I haven't seen in games ever. Xbox 360 is cool, but the only game that was cool for it when it came out was GRAW..... sorry all you xbox fanboys the other games blew like jenna jameson, now a yr later almost and they are coming out with some cool games, that's nothing to brag about when ps3 is going to have quite a few major titles within 6 months of launch. LAIR is another game btw that seems very very very promising
You do realise you just named 2 FPS games as being the best games currently available on xbox360. Those games are good, no doubt, but that still depends on personal taste. If I claimed KillZone and Socom to be the best Playstation games ever, wouldn't you call that kinda phatetic ? I bet you would. We should admit that fps games know little inovation. Every month 20 new fps games hit the shelves and the one with the best graphics and the biggest map just becomes the best untill another with with more of that is released. What does playstation have you ask ? Besides a bunch of FPS's of equal level. God of War - hands down THE best action/adventure curently out there. Winner of doesens of prices and announced game of the year buy a large majority of gaming magazines. Devil May Cry - The only action game available at European launch that will maintain a constant 60 fps frame rate at full HD graphics. God of War ano 2007. Final Fantasy (and almost every other squaresoft title for that matter) - Arguably one of the best RPG's in terms of story and graphics. In fact the xbox is killing the ps3 graphics because they have to keep ports in mind while developing. And atm I can't really think of any good action game on xbox that wasn't ported or originally planned for playstation.

The only games that are worth getting a ps3 for are MGS4 and Heaven's sword. I never did like Kingdom Hears so I won't say anything about that. Final Fantasy..The stories just seem sort of repititious to me, an important girl is faced with danger, or has a huge responsibility, a dude who looks like a chick decides to help her,and they fall in love, they meet different people along the way, The End. Not very interesting anymore.
at the moment and nest year the 360 is gonna have more better exclusives, and all you people who keep on mentioning god of war it hasnt even been confirmed that their will be a sequel. also both the new jedi star wars game and the half life package are coming to the 360 aswell
Naming just FPS sux Personally I hate FPS and the 360 basically deals with FPS and some others which contrict users from other type of games available for other platforms PS3 however like its predecessor will have multiple genre games that will hit the chart ... To burst the bubbles - Halo suxed the time i Played didnt like it at all - Wth was special about it? GoW i admit is a decent game though - Thats it? Only 2? Devil May Cry 4 Gran Turismo HD FFXIII Kingdom Hearts 3 Metal Gear Solid 4 God Of War II - GoW1 just one of the best action games I have ever played Ride Racer 7 KillZone Half Life All are top games - Just Halo and GoW wont stand a chance...Unless there are more games I am not saying they are sht or anything but just to buy a console for Halo and GoW is stupid - U want a variety of games even if its a little less powerful than another console DarkStar
1 god of war 2 is on the ps2, 2 the 360 will have half life package aswell, 3 kingdom hearts 3 hasnt even been confirmed and if u think the 360 has only 2 good games let me mention some other great and promising games: mass effect bioshock saints row splinter cell 5 tony hawks project (well the 360 version has online multiplayer unlike the ps3 version) blue dragon f.e.a.r. & fifa 07 which you will have to wait till march for huxley smackdown vs raw (ps3 version cancelled) halo wars forza motorsport Banjo-Kazooie 3 etc all of these a massive titles were the ps3 only has fall of men, mgs4 and ff
