that's horrible. if he truly did it he should serve his time and do a little community service maybe even at an animal shelter (with supervision of course). i don't know. animals seem much more helpless than humans. aside from barking, screeching, roaring etc....they have no means to communicate their pain and anguish. *sigh, i don't believe in killing animals at all, even for food because i have no need to.

However we feel more empathy for humans than an animal. You go on ranting about how you would care more about a dog being beaten than a 6 year old girl. Thats why we argue with you. The biggest thing that seperates us form animals is INTELLECT.
