Since a while back, it seems the amount of hackers in cs:s has doubled. Has anyone got any info on when a new VAC is coming out?
No clue. I havent seen anyone hack yet so sad. Well not that I'm sure about. I had a time that I thought someone was hacking, but turns out they were invisible cuz of a bug that a mod had on the server... xD, that was annyoing as hell.. not seeing who I got shot from.
it was expected, since with time, vac2 gets to be cracked easily for people who know how it works... hacks in cs:s arent as effective as in 1.6, and theyre much easier to spot, so thats not a big deal... yet.
I haven't seen any hackers yet either, I think that you are just thinking you faced a hacker, since there are so many unbelievably good players out there.
It's hard to see a hacker at cs:s, and it's hard to find cheats for it. Most hackers are playing cs 1.6, it's very easy to find cheats for it and good cheats. I don't think new vac will help, the ppl that are making cheats they know how to crack it, and 2 a 3 days after a new vac the cheats will be available to download..

same i dont hack, but id like to see what its like using one i mean people always say, "oo ur using aimbot" or "wallhacker!!" but id like to see em in action .
Never had any respect for people who use them. I have been accused many times for using hacks, although I dont play CSS, normally I play DOD: Source. I think if you need to use them you should find an easier game to play and not ruin the fun for everyone else. I got my decent skills from getting my @$$ handed to me till I learned, which is the way it should be.
