The next generation of gaming is starting to rise, but what would you consider the next generation? -The update in graphics on the Xbox 360 and PS3 -Nintendo's new way of how you play games
I say computing is the next generation. Gfx are getting better... alot funner. You get alot more controls. More people go online then on xbox live or w/e WoW gets 5 million online at a time. New games come out by the day! Updates with graphics and speed new internet and everything. Mac is coming to rise above almost all computers. Dell XPS is one of the best average gameplaying computers and a cheap labtop. It's obvious that computers are the next generation gaming.
Basically what Nintendo is doing is new generation gaming. Xbox360 is just doing an update to their old generation product by making a somewhat different one. Sony is just changing the way you can use your console, ----, I bet if they can make a microwave out of the damn thing, they'd do that. If you're talking about next generation gaming, thats what Nintendo is accomplishing with the wiimote, and the ability to play games all the way from NES. Graphics don't mean it's next gen, just nicer graphics. It's the innovation, and the quality that does it. Meh, can't say ---- about computers cuz I don't play pc games.
i feel nintendo are producing the console most worthy of being called next gen... BUT the PS3 contains next gen components... (8 cored cpu, blue ray etc.) and will be pretty cool, just over priced. the 360, being out for the time it has been will not match the components of the ps3, but its online play has gotta be the best (cant really judge though due to the Wii and PS3 not yet being released) Over all, im siding with Nintendo here, they are fitting alot more power into a small area which was one of the aims for the Wii, graphics will be comparable to the 360 on final release, and is the cheapest of all the next gen (and hopefully the funnest ) The wii looks like it's going to have some interesting and really fun titles... i hope it lives up to my expectations i've got one on preorder
The nex gaming isnt going to be just about PS,Xbox and Nintendo. I bet, soon enough we will hear a new company that will provide us with unimaginable gaming.
i wonder which company will be the next to make their own video game, Macintosh? -I believe that sony and microsoft have reached the next level in 3D graphics, but nintendo has reched another level of gameplay. also, instead of pretty much just targeting the hardcore gmaers, like sony and microsoft, nintendo is targeting all people , even those that don't normally play video games.
I'd like to get behind Nintendo but ever since the Gamecube, I have trouble with them. I mean I really give Nintendo the benefit of the doubt in a lot of stuff but I bought the DS Lite and honestly haven't touched it for three months. None of the games interest me which is why I think Nintendo is going to have a hard time selling their system to the older (20-25) range crowd. So while yes the control scheme is cool as hell, and is a new direction for gaming, and in some instance can be considered next-gen...I'm still sticking with the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Next generation gaming is gaming you couldnt do last year ps3: SIXAXIS-motion sensing with the familar controller Blu-Ray-More Space more oppurtunity Physics-the physics in fantasy games like Lair can make the gane feel real Graphics:Their is a fine line ps2 and ps3 graphics Content:Being able to buy items for a game to keep it interesting Online Service:Which helps me meet other people intrested in the same thing PC:It is a gaming system with computer tendecies .Linux, web browsing, keyboard + mouse capabilities,Downloads HDMIs3 is compatible with the best port out there, USB:It is usb friendly Next gen...Has to be all new hardware , features, and capabilities Dhar13
i would say xbox360 and ps3 are amazing and are a landmark for gaming but the next gen is imo virtual reality
I believe the wii is the next gen. I personally am not going to buy it I preffer the 360 games. After the wii I believe that it will come very close to if not totally virtual reality.
