Ok because there are a few members here who have been here along time and have seen pretty much every problem and seen how they should be solved here at gamerenders, why not have these people as extra staff, obviously hand picked by the Admins/mods. This group of people could then deal with the problem/suggestion forum and then take a great deal of work off of some of the mods that are always posting in here. Most of the ripper and scammer problems can be handled by non mods, and usually be handled with a simple PM. Maybe not the rep abuse section because thats Global mod job only but certainly the rest of the problem and suggestions forum could be handled by from who ive seen a few normal members around the site.

You're pretty much suggesting we need [sectional] mods...

No. The mods do a fine job here and we do not need any additional mods at the current time. If you wanna feel like mini-modding, feel free to do it, but don't expect something out of voluntary work.

Im not saying mini modding and i didnt say me. Even if i wanted to now, i cant mini mod because theyve changed the rule again so that u get suspensions. In the short time when we were able to post in the ripper and scammer forum half the topics were solved by Members of non staff.

I think your better fitted for your own, custom group. Brown nosing ----s sounds about right to me. Thoughts or Opinions?

Just because you don't see them post doesn't mean they aren't being of help somewhere else or at a different time. I know Mar for example helps users in the IRC. If a mod isn't doing their job then I'm sure they'll be demoted.

posting is not a sign of activeness, RA and Mar both close topics and handle issues in this area, as well as their other respective forums that sectional moderators are moderators in. Draven, while not posting here, has a hard enough job cut out for himself in the render section, and it is quite understandable why he doesn't post in a lot of areas outside the render section.

I didnt say they posted or not and im not syaing allow these "new group of mods have permissions to close topics or ban people or anything like that" Im saying they could be a great deal of help by solving problems in the ripper and scammers forum where normal members cannot post. Thats all im saying.

Entropy/chop if i didnt love you as much as i do i'd -rep you plus the fact that you couldnt give a ---- if i -repped you or not

It's OK, we were all thinking it, I was the only one of this group of ladies that had enough balls to say it. -_-

Its just another option as well as having the global mods help out more, let some more Members help out. Or even just make it so more of the sectional mods help out there a bit more.

If we wanted someone to do the type of job you described, we'd hire more sectional or global moderators to deal with it.
