i dont get it. are the judges just focusing on the difficulty of the cut? there should be a criteria on this...Like
1. How well it is cut out
2. Difficulty (of cutting it out from the original)
3. Usability (in a sig etc.)
4. Image quality of the render

TEK-NIK's render is not worth winning imo cause usability is Low

It`s not the same thing like ROTY. In ROTY were judges but now if you like render you just have to say "I voted for TEK-NIK" or something like that so now isnt necessary to vote using these criterions.

 

for public voting, YES but for the staff voting i think it should be proper to follow a criteria

 

Considering this WAS public voting, I don't see the problem... :\

 

Heh but we dont know how staff are voting

 

as you can see staff voting has a large part of the total points you get. its not mainly on Public vote

yep thats what im wondering about. thats why i suggested the cretieria for staff voting. from what ive seen i dont think the dont follow the usability of the render. for me that totally sucks

 

I like the way its set up atm, no need to change it. The previous rotw's are fine and I agree with the winners, TEk-NIK has a nice render and deserves 2nd place
