Getting A New Cpu

    I'm confused here i dont know what to do.. Should I buy a new computer or just parts, and if just parts, which ones!?! Also noted I am not to good with assembling or have any computer knowledge..

    installing RAM is simple, pop open case insert RAM done, graphics card is about the same. the for the card pop i cd isntall done.

    RAM not sure, do you have a DDR1 or a DDR2 system? gfx card, let em dig up a ;link

    i used CS2 with 256MB ram and worse CPU

    pretty sure a 8800GS is around the same price as the 7900GTX and performs much better

    the 7900GTX is the latests from geforce I think? great card. Im running a 7600 and I get about 100 fps at 1280 x 1024 resolution on Counter strike source

    Well I changed it to the 8800GTS I suppose it's better becuase it's around $70 more..

    Yeah the 8800 GTS should definitely outperform the 7900 gtx, its the latest from nvidia and dx 10 compatible
