well 1 some tit on msn gave me this link to a picture but basically it was a virus, the virus opens ups all my contacts the and the send them this link, also it keeps on closing down my programmes, anyone got any suggestions on how to remove it, thxs
What anti virus are you using? I recommend you download Avast! Home edition http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html And do a Boot time scan, You should also scan for spyware in safe mode, with Ad-Aware SE personal, Spybot S&D, or something (to get into safe mode press f8 a couple of times when you start up your computer, and select safe mode)
You're wrong, it can. It's a link that looks like you open a picture because it's called name.jpeg or .png... but when you click on the link you get a Virus. My friend had the same problem..use a good Virus Scanner.
that happened to me before later it will start screwing up your memeory so get avg free thats what i got and it killed the virus right away
Yes it can. Sometimes, the .exe is injected into a picture like a .bmp. It sounds weird but it's true. And this has happened to me as well but, I just scanned in safe mode, deleted and everything was fine then.
It isn't spam. I'm just saying that it can be injected into a .bmp with an .exe. What you're doing now by posting that is called spamming. Could've also told me in PM which wouldn't be spam.
