All of you post your SPI 1M results in xlinks topic :) Looking good sofar. I'll update mine soon because I will have new parts soon, including a x1950PRO. :> They are really cheap in europe now, its like a few bucks higher then the 7600GT and it owns the 7900GS.

You wouldn't be playing on medium/high quality because it only looks at the ram on the vga, not on the core/memory speeds, pixel and vertex shaders. Ram doesn't say ---- under 1600x1200 resolutions.

yha i know my ccard isnt very good. but i didnt want my pc to play games with. but now i changed my mind a bit.

question: i want to play oblivion, the system requirement lab says im ok on everything, even my video card. but i dont think it will do. So as a noob im wondering if i can overclock my 7300 LE (512mb) and make it better so i can run oblivion better.

@Λ x i s:I dont think you'd be able to play oblivion with that card, you can oc a little on stock, 'till you gotta buy a new cooler for it. I dont think it's worth to buy a better cooler for your card. Overclock as much on stock hs. Then if it's not playable on low, you'd have to buy a better card. Keep temps under 85 degrees. Overclocking only gives you liek a 4/5% performance boost on that card but you can always try. You can overclock in your nvidia control panel or by coolbits, google for coolbits.

    I'm getting a x1950pro, 160Euro's for me here in europe Quite cheap compared a 7900GT costs 260, a 7900GS 210 and a 7600GT costs 150.

    x1950pro>7900GS

yha it was the exact same card i was thinking a x1950pro 256 mb. the 199usd$ saphire one. im wondering if my power supply will be good enough. and if its worth upgrading from my current card to this, also considering the new dx10 cards, that are way out of my budget. anyways
