But, how come those topics were closed? Asking whether or not various religious leaders were real, or divine?

no offense, but it's pretty obvious.

    with religion comes arguments.

No offense, but if I had wanted a response from a brown nosed kid, I would have said, "Hey dizastr, why were those threads locked?" Unless you locked them, you don't know.

well because its a bunch of useless threads that turn into a flame fest which turns into -rep fest then more threads in rep abuse section which wastes mods time. Then we get morons here that after a mod removes a rep from someone and will -rep that same person again which turns into another useless thread and wastes a mods time once again. Btw I didnt close them

Watch it, Diz is exactly correct, that question should have been a given. This is a graphics forum, not a religion discussion forum.
People were discussing what they believe in, and polls were created asking the members of this forum whether certain religous leaders were real, which, by the way, nobody is in ANY position to tell somebody whether their religous figure(s) existed or not.
Everyone is entitled to believe in what they want, topics like that are just closed to avoid serious arguments from arising. -_-

That's a very stupid thing to say. It's the general discussion board...you discuss general information there...O_O...

He obviously doesn't. That isn't the reason a staff member gave. When he has a blue sign under his name, I'll pay attention to what he says abotu other staff's doings. All that needed to happen in this thread, was logic, axiom, or some other mod to post and tell me.

    Sorry for Dble Post:

Dude if you have a problem with it leave. This is a peaceful community so they (the mods and staff) dont want arguments which lead to more things. Its pretty simple, there mods, then inforce rules and do good for the rest of us. If you really dont like it, no1's asking you to stay.

but you should've known from the start why the threads were closed.

it's just common sense why they were, a discussion about religious subjects here on gamerenders cannot be brought about without people flaming eachother constantly, so it's not wonder why someone closed the topics, why or who it was doesn't and shouldn't matter.

Since I wasn't the one who closed them, I can't answer that. But I can tell you that we do have a rule about respecting other members, Rebel, so I suggest you work on your attitude. I've really about had it. I'm saying this to you, so don't bring up how other members act to reason with me about it.

I was the one that closed them. The topics didn't need to be there. I was particularly annoyed with xelink's topics.
