hi, On another design forum (I'm not gonna give the link, it's dutch so you guys wouldn't understand it) all hell's breaking loose. 3 or 4 members think they're absolute design gods because they don't use brushes but only filters. The majority however thinks they're nuts, cause you can get a much nicer result with much mess effort and time with the use of brushes. The filterguys state that anyone using brushes is a n00b and asn't allowed to judge about filters being good or not -_- So this caused a big commotion and a few members are entangled in a battle of words to defend the brushes. The filterguys also say that they'd rather have an ugly sig that is made only with filters than a very nice sig made with brushes. That doesn't make any sense!!! I ask everyone to please take a look at all the below posted sigs and wallpapers and say which you like best, the filtered ones. Or the brushed ones. the best result is a combination of both.. and if you don't want to combine, just get some nice brushes Sigs with filtering only look like ****
God.. it's about creating something, not about how you create it.... I use both brushes and filters. Dosn't matter to me.
Ah yes the endless battle. RedvsBlue. PepsivsCoke. However, the 5th Filterguys one is quite nice. I noticed a few of the brushed ones were yours, Ferali. n00b!! jk
I'm not gonna say the filter ones are BAD, but the brush ones are better. I like brushes! Plus, it's the only technique I know how to use. I'm new at Photoshop...
Filters can pawn brushes, but what they made is ----. Big whoop, an outer glow too!! OMFG that's nott a filtetr haha he got p00ned
i usually use a combination but the brushed ones are loads better than the filtered if they combined there skills ythey would be a LOT better
