I work at a Gamestop -esque store, but I FEAR working release day for PS3 and Wii. We're going to have the stereotypical total nerd coming in every 30 seconds, "GOTTA PS3?!?!?" "no" *Insert temper tantrum that occurs after every release ever* "Dude, can you do that outside or something?" Or even better, the day the PS3's start malfunctioning and people bringing them in left and right wanting a new one. Nothing, I can do, take it back to the company that made the piece.

That post is almost implying that the xbox360 delivered itself to the people that made preorders and with it's magical aura made people sent broken units directly to microsoft withouth asking for help at the store. Being the sonyfanboy that I am, I still must admit there will be problems, however, the lack of an external power supply, the probably non-existing chance of there still being packaging inside the console that they forgot to remove and the fact they have allready delayed the launch for an extended period of time to get everything the way it should be (yes I know they didn't delay it to make it better or something of that sort, but they sure as hell aren't rushing anything) should be enough reason why it will assumably never exeed the ammount of complaints about malfunctioning xbox's. I seem to recall something similiar with the launch of the previous generation.

That's not too shabby indeed but don't all electrical appliances come with a manditory 1 year warranty or something. In Europe we have to get a 2 year warranty on everything.

Ok so it's just Belgium then :mellow: Just saw microsoft only gave 3 months on the 360. That's kinda owned.
I'll crack up laughing if someone's PS3 breaks 366 days after they bought it. I'd get one of the 2nd or 3rd gen PS3, once all the bugs have been fixed and the price drops a few hundred...
Well, my friends are going to go camp out after school for some. I would never camp for a ps3, a 360 was worth camping for, a ps3 not at all.
My intelligence is not quite getting that. You'd rather camp for something that's less powerfull ? If your an xbox fan just atleast admit Ps3 has better hardware wich is worth the price. We won't kill you for having an opinion about it.
Seen a ps3 commercial last night for madden and I thought it was for the 360. Plus 600 is way to much, 400 was good enough for me. So go and have a tea party with the ps3. <3
i dont think camping after school if going to get you the ps3, people are going to be lining up in the morning. and i dont think imma camp for it either...i want to, but knowing that theres only 200k going around canada...the chances of actually getting it is really low
