Is Your Pc Running Slow?

ok heres what you should do to speed your pc up. Even 2 or 3 of these steps will help speed up your pc, but I recommend you run a virus scan and spyware can at least once a week, and the rest at least 1 a month.

• Run a Virus scan
• Scan for spyware - use Ad-Aware
• Uninstall all the programs you DONT use
• open run, type in msconfig, then select startup and stop all the unessasary programs from loading
• Erase all your internet browsers cookies and cache
• Defrag your pc
• then get an automatic registry cleaner to fix up your registry
• DONT USE Internet Explorer, but instead use Mozilla Firefox.

Then if all that fails reinstall windows. lol. Hope that helps everyone.

actually scrap adaware and spybot
for microsoft antispyware is the best it found tons of stuff tat adaware didnt trust me its the dominant power

Very nice tips. Although you need to use caution when running msconfig. If you are not sure what to turn off please do research before doing so. Turning off the wrong things can have very bad reactions.

Yes use caution when you run msconfig. Search it on google to find what you should and shouldnt turn off.

 

i use firefox and ie cause firefox doesnt let you have diff coursers or faded ----, etc.

microsoft can't make a good anti-spyware program ¬_¬
Ad-aware is better specially it's Ad-Watch program
I never have any in my pc lol

should add getting trillian if you run about 5 different messengers... it's got 5 messengers in oen (andyou can add more if you got Pro )

 

microsoft is by far the best one thats why they bought out giant for it. Spysweeper, Ad-Aware, and spybot are good but cant hold up to microsofts.
