but i need this for college and i cant just carry a desktop around all the time i could buy it but still my mom wont let me it is a desktop and i already have a desktop with a ----ty card a geforece 400mx once i get my pc (laptop) i will just go to fry's and buy a geforece 7600 or if i have some mone left over then i will try to get a 8800gtx lolz but this computer that i am on is a dell dimension 8200 and i dunno if it can handle any good graphics cards Zain
Dell powersupply would probably explode from using that card, they're low quality. Also the CPu in it woudl be incapabel of keeping up with the data from the graphcios card so it would eb a wastea s frame rate wouldnt' be as high as necessarily justifiable. also doesn't have the proper interface for the card for college work though, a cheap laptop would probably be best and each year as manufacturing processes get mroe eficient battery life picks up. I assume your'e going to college enxt year, if that is the case wait on a laptop purchase until that time, I'm sure by then the latest revision of core 2 will be usiong half the power boards will be mroe enrgy efficient and the like if you want it now, i'd have to check around.
I could wait till like next year but i have been waiting for the past year and was saving up money for ps3 till my mom took away that i aint getting ps3 anymore yesterday then she gives me 2k bucks and tells me to save them up till the end ov this school year mabye next summer that is what she said today and then buy a pc laptop now i am screwed i just talekd to her over the phone and she said that i might not get either anymore and she also said that buying a pc laptop atm is not even required for me since i am on a dell desktop (which my parents think is really good) and that is enough for me dammit i am screwed again after waiting 1year and savign up Zain ;(
The est thing i say for you to do is get a computer.Since the ps3 is about 700 dollars you can get a computer for cheaper or same price.But the cool thing about the computer you get internet and all sorts of junk on ps3 you dont. Agreed - but build it yourself and save cash. people around here can help with that. Or if u get a premade pc with the 1300 at least get it off ibuypower.com or another site that offers decent custom PC's. Not Dell - not alienware - same thing sorta - no hp, compaq, etc.
is it me or do i see an obivous answer in buying both? It seems like you have plenty for a good pc AND a ps3. Not to mention you could find a way to earn a few bucks here and there too add to what ur parents gave you.
I can add a few bucks but if i save tilll next year i will have around 3500 for a pc (laptop) cuz i started to work at longs as customer service and photo dept. and ithey are giving me around 8bucks an hour or maybe 9 i dunno but yeah so for me i would think just to wait till next year that way i will have around 3k for a laptop computer and the rest i can buy a ps3 with some new games out whatcha guyys think?
