isnt this a problem with your profiles? i cant remember the code right now to type in run..

    -edit-

    found it...

Close Firefox completely (select File > Exit from the main menu of Firefox).

Select Start > Run... from the Windows Start menu.

Enter firefox.exe -ProfileManager and press OK.

don't turn off your computer without properly closing firefox first.

    with that said...

I've had a ton of crap happen from improperly shutting down

onyl oin firefox though ---- coding in my opinion.

Firefox keeps a record of your bookmarks from day to day in one of the sub folders on your HDD

lemme see if i can find it

    FOUND IT

    Code:
    C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_LOGIN_NAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\umnummq3.default\bookmarkbackups
