Well.... here lately something is bugging me a lot. Personally this site is kind of strange to me because of some reflections i have seen of people buying things by people that are recognized by this community a lot. Now i may not have the BEST sigs / creations in the world... but personally i cant even get someone to set off a start on ANY of my auctions... and some of my creations, in my opinion, are bidable. But anyway... heres what my point is Now, many of you know [AP] .FX is a good artist, many of his sigs are amazing, and utilize new techniques etc etc. He sells his sigs so easily its rediculous, Now Look at some of the things im selling. Cant get a start on ANY of them, Some of them arent great i know.. http://www.gamerenders.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=285017 They are not that great, they are not perfect, the point im trying to make is that it seems like auctioning off tags and such is some- what based on who made the tag/sig. This is not the case IN EVERY AUCTION, but i think it has an effect. And i see many good tag sales that are passed up a lot ( i cant buy because i dont have the creds ) but im just trying to open up people to other peoples sales as well, and not just the fairly well recognized. Hope this doesnt offend anyone, IT IS NOT INTENDED TO, i love .FX's art, im just trying to open peoples minds up if they arent already. Thanks.
the only thing I have to say is the first two seem to high priced for the skills applied. start a little lower. I can get some of those same skill leveled sigs for meh about 50-100 creds a piece. gotta start low before you can aim high, make a name for yourself and creds will flow to ya
yeah, I agree with you. I think people go after the weight of people's names, no matter how good or bad it is (within reason of course). Like you get the chance to buy a junky old 1985 Lamborghini for really cheap, enough that you could buy a brand new Honda civic, but then you go for the Lamborghini, after all, it is an exotic sports car...so i think something of that sort happens with signiatures...its all about the weight that a certain name carries I also agree with galione

We just had a topic like this. Everything in the world is based on name, it has to be. Do you go out and buy Nike etc.? Or do you get the cheaper version with no tick? It's how economy works.
Theres not much you can do, names sell. Nike sells over a noname brand even though the quality of nike may be worse.
True.... The real point of this post was to open up peoples minds to other artists creations, even if they arent the most recognized people in the community.
I bought 3 of your signatures..i thought they were nice, but yeah it does go by name unfortunately...i cant even sell my things most of the time, lol.
