Yo, all I might buy an iPod but I don't know what the requirements for one would be. Do I need an Apple comp? Does it tell me how to load songs on it? Would I have to pay for more then just then the iPod to get songs on there? Stuff like that.
1. No, you can use a PC. 2. Yes, it tells you how to get song on there and comes with a program to do it, though I prefer this more. 3. No, you can transfer song for free. Hope that answers your questions.
Thanks that answered most of them, but do I have to buy a port or something or does it come with that?
It comes with the cables you need. A USB cable and a FireWire cable. You can choose which one you want to use.
I think Apple gives an academic discount if you're in school. At BestBuy they have a $100 mail-in rebate (at least where I live). That's all I know of.
DONT BUY AN IPOD. THEY ARE A RIP JOB!!!! The rechargeable battery in them only lasts for 2 years and then you cant get a replacement and you have to buy a new ipod. I suggest shopping around for different brands. The best at the moment would most probably be the iRiver and other brands like Philips are worth a look too.
Eric, Eric, Eric.... *sighs* Not just ANY Pc a Mac or windows pc (Unfortunatly I use linux so.....) [/b][/quote] What do you mean?
bull---- dude, that was ages ago. apple now do a service to replace the batteries. thought irivers are better imo.
depends really, i wanted a recording function and an fm radio, better battery life and an optical/line in/out so i got the iriver h120....i also like it how windows recognises it as a hdd so you can put anything on your iriver....
