Broken I do like your style a lot. When I say originality I'm not just implying different ways to do it, but look at the entries for a bit. Most of them are "whored" renders, or overly & excessivly used renders. I've seen the renders you chose maybe once or twice the most and your style is original. It may not be completely yours but it's better then most, in where they put a splatter or smudge and a couple sparkle brushes to go with it. As for your point of view on being mainstream and originality, personally I think they go hand in hand, the reason we're so mainstream and popular is because we provide topics and such that many people are intrigued by, but we provide them in an original manner. ^_^

Unless someone tries and counters brokens entry for me thats topnotch atm but its shaggy's decision for choosing

Word of advice to the viewers and commentators, don't look at the names until you see all the entries, 'cause it almost feels as if you guys are going for site favorites and friends. I don't mean any offense to anyone, but you always have to realize that there are skilled artists out there who are shadowed by your friends in your view, if you're going straight for a favorite.

 

Yeah, that's one of (not the main) reasons I quit rendering. No one seemed to care about what I did. All the top guys seemed to like my renders, but everyone else, for lack of a better word, worshipped them. I mean, I didn't render for glory, but to give resources to other folks, but no one seemed to use them, so I didn't see the point. Now I just render what I need *shrugs*

Me for the win! Not really, lol. I don't know whose I like best, thus far I haven't seen anything that has wow'd me. They all are typical (minus the animation). I want to see something different!
