First off, the priest is right, God does love you more than your mother loves you. Your sister is in a place where she can't be hurt or sad.

And as usual, people always blame things on God. If someone dies, they automatically blame God for it. I see it more like if I make a mistake, it is my own fault and problem, I don't think God did that to me. Your sister died, sorry about that, but it wasn't like God said "Hey, I think i'll take this child away from her family for fun".

WTF the priest isnt right, god does not love any child more than their mothers...i dont care what you say, im a non believer so you may think what the hell you want but dont even dare try to say that god loves anyone more than a mother and child.

Also if you believe we are all related i suppose we all better stop having sex with each other....that thought is gross...uh

wait, (}SoC{SainT said that anything except God creating everything is illogical, and yo agreed with him. But then you say you do not see how god creating the world is possible?

plz tell me that was just a typo

I agree with kirbir though, I can see God loving someone as much as the mother, but quite frankly im not buying God loving a child more than the mother :/ (in ordinary circumstances of course, there are women who don't love their children)

I'm not trying to convince you to believe it. I love God more than my family and more than myself. God does love you more than you think. God DOES love your little sister more than your mother. I'm not saying that your mother doesn't love her daughter, because I know she does. I know how loving parents can be, but I know that God loves me way more than my family can love me.

Well that is your own personal opinion and i will respect that but saying it as if it is a fact that god loves a child more than its parents wont go down too well with me.

    Oof?
God doesnt love me, god doesnt love my family.
If he does he's making a big mistake because we surely coudnt care less about him.

NOBODY, loves my family more then me and the other way round. I know it's your opinion, and your belief. But God's...goes around killing people, creates disease etc. so...why the hell should I believe my dead relatives are in a happy place now?

God doesn't create disease, we do, via our own sin. You especially cannot blame God on STD's, since if people had moral sex then we wouldn't spread STD's and they'd eventually leave the whole picture. Disease came from sin, which was a willing choice made by man.

Disaster is there as a means of discipline. If you have a child, whom you love, will you ignore everything that they do wrong? What if they punch someone in the face, will you ignore that? No, you'll punish them for it. God is punishing us, and helping us via disaster. Good comes of it, whether we admit it or not.

Also, we may as well kill ourselves. The penalty of sin is death (OH MY GOSH! That means that God believes in the death penalty! Difference is: what right have we to determine when someone deserves death). He's not killing us, we choose death. There's a wide road to our left, easy to travel, a slight downhill sloap. To our right there is an uphill, narrow path. At the end of the path is Jesus, at the end of the other road is death. We make a choice as to which way we take, and can always change around.

God does not kill us. We do it ourselves.

By the way... God the FATHER. Ring any bells? God is my Dad. Someone I know calls Him PapaGod. That means that He loves you like His own son (or daughter). He loves you AT LEAST as much as Kirbir's mom loved her still-born child. He doesn't care what you've done, why else would He send His only son to die for you?

And ramen, to each his own, I suppose. I know God created us all with my heart, and believe it enough that I would bet my life on it, but that doesn't mean ya agree.

I'm sorry, am I the only one who sees the irony in that statement? Seriously, just think it's funny how you worded it :P

And, sadly, I cannot guarentee your relatives are in a better place. One of those questions mentioned how the vast majority of mankind is headed to Hell (and, as far as I know, that is accurate, but I cannot tell you the heart of someone before they die). As much as I hate to say it, my grandfather and almost all of my dad's family is headed to Hell at the moment. To get to Heaven is a narrow road that is difficult to travel. Wish everyone could be there, but they have to make the choice on their own.

I don't feel like finding her post to quote, but the Bible says God loves us so much, that our love for each other, is like hate in comparison.

    Merged Post:

Either way you look at it, Biblically, or Scientifically we are all related to some extent. It's so far related, that you can basically say we aren't. But technically we are.

*sigh if that's what you truly believe.i guess i have no right to tell you what you should believe. if i did....i'll become the exact same thing i dislike about many religions, and that is a scary notion.
