Installing Linux Red Hat 9

    While my friend was installing the linux red hat 9 from cd it says to insert cd and reboot he does and we came across this error "Boot from ATAPI Cd-Rom: Failur . . ." and i had him check to see if his cdrom drive was set to the primary boot and it is but same message comes up. he has an
    Intel Celeron Processor 634mgh
    running Windows Xp -----
    jus ask if u need more info
    please help ASAP

    See if the cd works in another computer. It might have gotten damaged.
