Ok well I just recorded some stuff with Camstudio. But the problem is that is saved as a .camrec and not .avi. And as this is not something i can record again (its stupid stuff my friends did on webcam) I can rerecord it. So How can i convert .camrec to .avi so i can edit it in Windows Movie maker ... or with what can i view it so i can re record it ?

Well i did as you said and all it does is create a folder with a .avi in it.

But when i play that .avi there is no sound or image.

well in that case it's just the file that's messed up, not the program
