you may have seen this part on Addle Boy's: Addle Boy and I are currently trying to start an organization on GR, called ROA (Reapers of Art), for cpu graphics artists, web page designers, 3D modelers, game makers, etc. We feel that this site needs more 100% original art work, sigs are fine (i understand that the site is called game "renders"), but i feel that there also needs to be an area for art that was created from scratch. If the org. makes it through the GR admin. and staff, then we will be hosting contests in which some of the following prizes will awarded: costumized web templates, mini games with either you or a character of your choice in it, PSD's, tuts, and maybe credits. We would appriciate any feedback or ideas that you have to make the org. better or help it get started. The logo is displayed on my sig, and carries the following quote: "Reap the reward of immortality through your works of art" Sapphire Blade. I really want this to go through, i feel that it would be an opportunity for people to fully express themselves/portray themselves through their art. We're just trying to add something more to the site. I'm definitely open to suggestions as to how it should be done and if you have better/unique ideas for prizes share them with me. If the organization goes through, then there will be 4 staff members, Addle Boy, myself and 2 others. Still working out the kinks in membership though. Also if it goes through, the first contest will simply be for a hundred creds. The contest would be to make an animated avatar of a grim reaper for the staff, .fla's, .gif's etc. Remember, this still hasn't been cleared yet so please do not start making an avatar, also keep in mind that the program/org. represents 100% original art, thus the avatar would have to be made purely from your own creativity. thank you-english doomo arigatoo-japanese gracias-spanish merci-french danke-german grazie -italian dank u-dutch needless to say, thank you very much for your time, i know it was alot
sounds good dude we need some organisations in GR but offeriing prizes to other GR members is mostly the GR Staff that do that like sig of the week etc. but good luck anyway
