Cs Problem

I installed my new CS1.6 and played for about an hour or two. I changed the video resolution to smaller than my monitor because I thought that it would just become a smaller screen. I restarted the game and my monitor gone blank. I can alt+tab out of it and off the game through task manager. I reinstalled it many time and the problem sticks. Can anyone help me?

Please eleborate I tried pressing ctr+3 already with no effect.

 

Just hold on, my screen used 5 minutes to update from 1024*12.. to 1920*1200

 

try deleting your custom.hpk file in your cstrike folder
