what Logicaly meant was, the membership item wasn't supposed to be abused and sold for a proft.

And in order to give donators the 60% discount, the feature to send membership item has to be disabled to prevent abuse

the item wasn't meant to be sent in the first place

Okay, heres an Idea: what about setting restrictions, like only the people who actually contribute to the site (doing nice things, donating stuff like tutorials, renders, etc) keep donator membership, and the rest keep premium? Something along those lines, I didn't really do a good job explaining the idea, but some should get a general picture.

now that i think about it, that would actually make the site MORE money cuz there r a lot of members who would like to actually donate to the site but don't have the $20 or $25 to do it......with a donation option that lets u send however much u want, members with the $25 could either buy the membership or just make it a donation. so either way Shaggy still gets the $25 whether the member wants the membership or not

I can bring up the idea of changing the name, and then looking into a donator feature. However, how many of you would actually donate money?

well maybe not cuz the credits sent to the GR Bot could be used to buy stuff from members and then given out for free...it wouldn't remove them from the system but it would help the members out so it's not really a bad idea

I used to donate random amounts to another site every once in a while - until I realised they were twats... I currently donate money every so often to a site atm... Some of us users actually see the hard work that goes into something and are happy to donate money... I know I'm not the only person like this...

Personally - the exchange rate has cost me enough already so I don't see another donation here any time soon but if you allowed ppl like me to donate any amount we wanted - you would end up getting more out of us - just ask the site I donate to now lol... currently about $70AU... it's definitely worth discussing guys :D

stop bumping old topics shaggy. jk lol

even though in some people's views, it's not a donation, i think donator sounds cool and would be wierd if changed imo.
