Well I am thinking of upgrading my computer. Alot. Could anybody tell me what everything in the computer is (not everything just the graphics card and stuff). All I know is the ram and the cd drive, and the floppy disk drive. EDIT: Well here is another picture. Could you tell me which thing is the video card. Also any websites that explain how to remove/install this stuff would be helpful.
the big green thing is the motherboard the big metal box in the top left should have the power supply in it. the processor should be under the fan on the motherboard (big green thing ) the fan on the processor it the heat sink. at the bottom of the motherboard is the video card slots, which u can barely see in that picture. the bottom right thing is the hard drive...thats all i know neways
no idea what your stuff is in specific but my guesse is PIII 128 or 256mb of RAM(what type i dont' know likely hynix) if you eman list the parts in specific google my friend
OK first post is edited. It has 128mb of ram and PIII. I just need to know which one is the graphics card mainly but knowing everything else also would just be better.
Well if your upgrading basically the whole thing, then the manufacturer makes no difference anyway. What do you want to do with your machine anyway?
you dont have a gfx card if youre looking to upgrade it THAT much it would be easier to buy/build a new system from scratch...
Well I had that extra computer laying around and didn't want to unplug everything from this computer. Well I When you say it doesn't have a graphics card that is wierd because I can play star wars jedi knight II: Jedi outcast fine on it.
It looks like you have a AGP slot ( the brown one) but i can't tell for sure. But you definitely have PCI and they sell video cards for that.
it is AGP, pentium 3's never had PCI-e. but really, you'd need a new computer, you cannot upgrade that. the least you can do is up the ram and buy an agp card. that will not boost your gaming by any means.. you need a new motherboard and cpu, more than likely new ram as well..
Yeah well my 3 pci cards that I am using are soundblaster, ethernet port, and a phone jack for dial up. I also just opened my eMachines T3410 and I could not find the graphics card in that either (that is the computer I use for gaming). The pci 16 slot is empty and the regular pci slot just has dial up on it. There is no agp on that computer. I am so cornfused!!!!!!
