I think it's funny you left the pre-text stating not to post non-discussion threads in this area but still posted it here. lol

    Kinda a oxymoron.

    Anyway,

You would need to get the Motorola software (and the wire, but I guess you have it already) that is sold separately. The software emulates the phone and will allow uploads of full or cut .mp3's. You can also use it to download your pictures and so on..

I have the software at home but I'm at work right now so I can't get you the actual name. Try and google Motorola Software or something. ;)

There is another way to do it that not very many people know of. You can search for a program called RSD Lite. IT is only available at Authorized Motorola ervice centers, however, Google is your friend. IF you can find that, all your problems are solved. If you need any help, PM me.

Unfortunately you need the RSD lite before you even start thinking about those programs. I have been modding Razrs for just over a year now... RSD Lite is the backbone of the entire thing.

@Oracle, I can't give you that info. Just try whatever you think looks right.

i dunno how it is with the RAZR but with the KRZR you go to:

    Settings
    Connection
    USB Settings
here you choose from the three choices: Memory Card
the other choices are the Data and Printer, you probably wont be using a printer, I don't know if this will work on the RAZR, but seeing that a RAZR has a usb connection...

The program is called Motorola Phone Tools, you might be able to find a trial version somewhere. Otherwise you would have to buy the software from your local store or favorite webdealer.
