Gr Problem

my freind godx cannot go on GR..
whenver he tries to come or clicks a link to Gr it says the site doesnt exist
hes pretty sure its not being blocked and his internet is up


any help?

 

Tried different browsers?
Clear cache...cookies..

 

Everythings perfectly fine, the site does not exist.

 

There is a discussion being carried amongst the staff for this, as we've had a couple of complaints about it. I personally will reply when we find out whats up with the forums if another mod hasn't done so before myself.

On a side note, would your friend be in the UK? (as the complaints received are mostly from the UK or Europe in general)

As I said in black.ice's thread about this, tell him to open command prompt then type this:
ping gamerenders.com

Usually 4 packets are sent, tell me how many were sent, received, and lost. If packets are lost, you have a faulty connection.

 

^ That didnt work for him though, he can only get on via a proxy

 

Get your friend to try this.

Open this directory

Windows>System32>Drivers>Etc

Open the file "Hosts" with notepad.

Underneath what's already written have him add.

208.101.49.184 www.gamerenders.com
208.101.49.184 gamerenders.com

Save > Exit

Then try and access the site, if it still doesn't work; reboot and try again.

the same things happening to me

and i can't send creds atm either, whenever i try i get a message saying "you must use the form to send credits, this is too prevent cheating"

so i have to do it from school...
