Is there any other animation program other than imageready which will open PSD's photoshop files, if so please tell me.

Or just link me to any animation program, and tell me what files they can open.

    Thanks.

I'm not sure if they can open .psds. But imageready cannot be called an animation program. There are FAR more advanced animation programs out there nowadays. Even animating programs from the 90's are more advanced than Imageready CS2.

Animating a sprite. Use imageready. I was talking about programs like Marionette and Flash. Those border on CGI animation. Sprite animation, use imageready. If you have troubles, just keep practicing. Animation is one of the most annoying things you can get yourself into, and unless you have alot of patience you are going to end up killing something.

You could use PS. It has animation and you can save for web as .gifs. When I have animated something using PS/Imageready I do all the framework in PS then just edit if IR to save optimized.

Yes. You do all the frame by frame in PS. With the animation window. Then go file>>save for web. And it should have already pre-selected .gif file. If not, select it and save. Anyways, I'm off to bed. 4am, school tomorrow. Goodnight. Hope it works out.
