Okay, I bought a laptop to take to school because I needed it. I know about RAM and all but I need help finding SODIMM and help with laptop RAM. YAY! I just need someone to pick out some good RAM to go with it. 1GB to 2GB replacement RAM, not to stick with the one module in it already. Price? Well, if you know me then you know my answer... whatever. Just try not to make it Crucial Memory again. I put too much money into that the last time. :tongue:

ye, i wouldnt go with crucial either, but its the only one on there meeting those specs... 'course, you always can go at a lower speed then OC it... but idk what kind of specs the board has for oc'ing..
i don't think you'll be getting much OCing done on a laptop... laptops don't have much in terms of airflow if you haven't noticed and typically their BIOSs dont' allow for overclocking so unless you cna custom program the RAMs SPD it won't be overclocked all too much. and what's wrong with crucial? Their sets with micron d9XXX ICs OC pretty well EDIT: google D9DQW if you don't beleive me(Crucial is a subdivision of Micron FYI)

The latency on all the ones posted are the same. And it would be dual channel if he bought 2 of them. they would be basically the same just cheaper. Why not save 40 or 20 bucks?
