Go back. Trust me, dropping out of school and just working is not the way to go. You will earn more $ overall with a high school diploma (not a GED or equivalent) and go a College degree.

If you drop out of school the rest of your life will be much harder. It has been studied many times, and difficulties in school are not really that bad unless your life is in danger, which if this is the case, you should just transfer to another school and get your education first.

Even if they do know what they are going to do for the rest of their life, having the education is far better than having to make up for it along with a full time job.

My wife has been going to college for 12 years trying to get a degree. She has a full time job and has to take courses late at night or when she has the time, and the amount of courses it takes can take a while along with the $.

I know alot of people who have gone this same route, dropping out and having to end up going back to school to advance further in their careers.

I do agree a degree or some qualifiation can give you a good headstart

to be honest, a degree is like a platform ... it does get you somewhere ... but where you go from there really depends on yourself

Amen to going back to school.

You can finish school, go through life well (Or better paid) have ensurance, your own house, cars, etc. OR you can stay a drop-out, go through life from paycheck to paycheck, have no ensurance, live in slums, etc.

    School FTW.

I don't really see why dropping out has to be an answer to your struggle, unless like it was stated, you were in danger, but you could always just transfer elsewhere if possible.

At least get your GED in an adult school then. :\

Oh, thought it was High School. Same still applies though. With your degree, you will earn more money and life will be alot easier in the long run. I am in my 30's so I know how it can be, if you look at all the nice cars rolling down the freeways, most of them have a college sticker or license plate frame with their alumni on it, those that dont have them are usually the ones smoking or are broken down on the side of the road.

It is your life to live, but just wanted to give you another point of view.
