Ok if you are going to college I would suggest getting a laptop as it would be more handy for you to have than a PC. However if you were like me and took a year off of school before starting college I would say get a PC. If you feel that the laptop is the way to go then I would say list exactly what you plan on useing it for that way the specs for the laptop can be match to your needs. Also the same can be said for you getting a PC, just need to know what you plan on useing it for. Also madmav, and Hinato I would like to know what you are smokeing because I want some. You would have to be crazy to get a dell, everyone knows that they are ---- because they are built with crap componets and loaded with ---- from the get go. So please pass the crazy pills around gents.

ya i live in us. so can any1 post the best deal for a laptop they can find in USA that's under 1000? looking for decent memory, but i could just get external hard drives i guess, uhh playing movies, and a bit of gaming, smaller screen doesnt matter, no need for big screen either. thanks
