New Computer

    hey, so i was looking for a pretty new, prety good computer, cuz mine is kinda old and is just haveing too many problems, so i was wondering if any1 knew any good deals on desktops or laptops maybe.
    looiking for decent gaming, playing sum videos, and schoolwork


    mostly looking for a really good deal.

    Are you in college? If so, I would suggest a laptop, they come in handy.

    And again, we would need the things that Xelink mentioned above.

    hmm what are the different things that i shuld mention? like size and stuff?
    just like watht are the different factors or w/e.
    and i'm a senior in highschool.

    and considering next year you will (probably) be going to college, i owuld suggest a laptop.

    uhh as for amount i'd say around 1000 usd or less.
    uhh i don't mind laptop or desktop i could just buy a laptop later if i need, cuz i can leave comp home for family.
    and what is a bare-boned kit?

    and why is that?

    do you have any expertise as to wha they use? do you know how much the average 1000$ Dell system costs DELL(hint under 700)

    I purely suggested a dell as he has no idea about the inside of a computer from what I can read and that I doubt he's going to build one himself :|

    A bare bone system is a desktop computer, but smaller.
    Shuttle first released the Bare Bone, also known as the SFF (Small Form Factor).
    They run Micro-Atx Motherboards and PSU's.
    If you're going to college, I'd suggest getting one.
    They're cheaper and more powerful than a laptop, and they can easily be carried around in a carry case.

    Yeah... easy to carry? what about the monitor? Oh, that goes in the back pocket? ^_^
