hey, so i was looking for a pretty new, prety good computer, cuz mine is kinda old and is just haveing too many problems, so i was wondering if any1 knew any good deals on desktops or laptops maybe. looiking for decent gaming, playing sum videos, and schoolwork mostly looking for a really good deal.
Are you in college? If so, I would suggest a laptop, they come in handy. And again, we would need the things that Xelink mentioned above.
hmm what are the different things that i shuld mention? like size and stuff? just like watht are the different factors or w/e. and i'm a senior in highschool.
answer that. and considering next year you will (probably) be going to college, i owuld suggest a laptop.
from Dell's as s, I take the money out and buy a better computer at newegg... ok, best deal I can find is these: AMD 64, 939 board, 160gb hdd, DL DVD, 1gb ddr ram, Case + PSU http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...u=M450-2400%20Q Diablotek x800 GTO http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...2458778&CatId=0
uhh as for amount i'd say around 1000 usd or less. uhh i don't mind laptop or desktop i could just buy a laptop later if i need, cuz i can leave comp home for family. and what is a bare-boned kit?
and why is that? do you have any expertise as to wha they use? do you know how much the average 1000$ Dell system costs DELL(hint under 700)
I purely suggested a dell as he has no idea about the inside of a computer from what I can read and that I doubt he's going to build one himself :|
A bare bone system is a desktop computer, but smaller. Shuttle first released the Bare Bone, also known as the SFF (Small Form Factor). They run Micro-Atx Motherboards and PSU's. If you're going to college, I'd suggest getting one. They're cheaper and more powerful than a laptop, and they can easily be carried around in a carry case.
