A Few Things About Advertisement Rule

Ok well I would like to know I got Warned for it like 5 days after it came out and I never saw it yet. But I see people everywhere with like 10 advertisements.

Also Broken Inside got banned cus he asked people to wear in advertisement banner and gave them like 3 to choose from. A few people wore them all and he got banned. Yet Eruptionist was paying people to wear just one and there wearing all of them and he isnt banned.

And can I get my warning removed for that? I wasnt even here until 5 days after the rule came out and i wasnt online 1 hour and got suspended about a rule I knew nothing about.

Yea I see tons of people.

But what's really the point of that rule? So what if they have more than one...I know it's against the rule but why is it a rule?!

 

It was being abused, that's the point of the rule. Obviously people are going to abuse the rule, and we cannot catch everyone. Instead of making a topic, how about you report people?

Yea good point, but I don't see how like 2-3 is considered abuse...5 or something would be reasonable.

 

But reporting isn't always a good idea, it can lead to your IP getting kicked or somthing i don't know what to do on GR because i get warned a suspened for rules i didn't know and i was once banned for linking a site which was in the resource section.

How would reporting that to us lead to you being kicked or something? If anything, we'd thank you for PMing us with the profile of anyone breaking the rule.

As for Broken Inside, I can't remember why he was exactly banned but I know none of us would've banned him strictly for that thread he had up.
