I was just wondering how you people get ideas for photomanipulations. Ive been assigned a lab in computer programming and web design to make a photomanipulation in photoshop... but i just cant think of anything good. My previous programs and work has stood out from the rest of my class, so my teacher expects alot from me. And i'm good at photoshop, but i'm just blank when it comes to creativity. Do you look at other peoples work? Do you search the web for pics to manip? How do you get your ideas for photomanips? Thanks again.
I just look for a picture that motivates me. Try finding a pic or a tree somewhere, because with the help of a few adfjustment layers and a couple of filters you can make it look like a dead tree and a gloomy place.
music, other peoples work, and my emotions. That's how I do anything. I'm working on one right now...I have everything ready, except I need a picture of myself for it to work...sigh.
I go around different areas looking out the window while I am in the car and take pics of random things that make me think. I then can use them for photomanip. I find anything that makes you think is good.
