I have a Islamic book stating that's Jesus WILL resurrect and since I can't have my book as a reference, here's a link. Code: http://www.islaam.com/Article.aspx?id=77
Ok.. There will always be wars regarding religion. That much is true, but the purpose of the US army bieng over in Iraq still is supposedly to 'protect' their innocents, not to iradicate a religion from the earth. The way you talk, in your first post and the one I have quoted, seems that you believe they are there in a religious crusade, to stop muslims believing what they want to believe, and convert them to whatever your religion is. While you make fair points, my opinion is that you are in some cases wrong. I believe that the ONLY reason that the US troops are still over there is BECAUSE the US makes money off them. It is difficult to believe that they would stay there for the sole purpose of hunting down terrorists to be honest. Why? Can you seriously say to me that they invaded an ENTIRE country just for that one purpose? Frankly, I believe that religion is the WORST ever creation by man. Yes, thats right, by man. A lot of people are terrified at the thought of death, and they want to believe that there is something more than their corpse simply rotting at the end of a meaningless life. People created religion to fulfil this need, and because of that, all of these petty and in all honesty, pointless wars are bieng fought. I have my opinions, and you have yours. That is why I respect all of those who believe in something such as religion, even though I do not agree with it at all. Can you imagine what it would be like if there was no religion? Can you imagine how peaceful it could be? Those people who let blind faith lead them into fighting with fellow humans are a disgrace to our race, and our humanity. I hope you can see where I'm coming from.
Well, that all depends on who you ask. You have a radicle religous group fighting a nation. So, on one side it IS in fact a religious war, however from our point of view, it's more of just a war. The only problem with the radicle religion's idea of this being a "holy war", is all Americans are not blockedistian/Catholic/any other kind of religion. Sure, the majority of Americans claim to be blockedistian, or at leaste to be going to the "blockedistian's" Heaven. (I am a blockedistian, so yea) Thank you, for your last sentences. Now, as for pulling out, we can't at this point. I think we just need to take a new direction, or atleaste start giving their power back more quickly. We are starting to spread ourselves too thin. We need to either A.) Take a break for abit, then come back. B.) Go in a diffrent direction, or C.) Pull out. Which "C" is the most irrational solution, but I added it just for the sake of arguement.
Here's another site.... Code: http://www.islamqa.com/index.php?ref=502&ln=eng And RebelYell, please don't scoff it off without reading it.
Yea...I'm not Muslim, so I don't believe Allah to be God. Sorry. I don't believe the Quran true, I believe in the Bible. Jesus is the son of God, not Allah, and he was more then just a prophet. He was diety in flesh.
To the person who said it that this isnt a religous war, are you half retarded? How is it not.... lol Granted it most definately isnt JUST a religous war, But primarily the principles of the war is, Minus Money/Greed... See Humans naturally are greedy, are ignorant and that is the reason we have so many problems in the world today. Its all about money... If you think about it, Communism would basically be the best suited type of government ever invented or thought of. But of course Greed comes into play, and it becomes in to an Oligarchy... So I do somewhat agree with you that it isnt JUST a holy war, but from a spectators stand point you have to look at it as a whole. And those are the factors I see. -Religion -Greed -money -Oil
