Well, basically I joined wrestling and i'm not really that fat, I have some love handles but mostly thats it, my weight is 154, and i'm trying to get to 149 or lower, i honestly don't know how i should do this can anyone clearify some things for me? my first question is should i eat before i work out? should i eat before i run? should i lift weights after i run? also..what are some good foods to eat, i hear alot of people saying that 7 meals are good, like every few hours snack on something, what should i snack on like a sandwitch? or veges fruits? should i not even lift weights? should i lose weight then lift weights? what are the best exercises to lose love handles besides sit ups.. any advice or anything will be really appreciated, thanks.
Well ive been working out for about 2 years now the best thing is to stack up on your supplements and eat alot of protien fish red meat tuna fish or chicken breast, after i work out i always take a protien shake you have a 30 minute window where you want your muscles to start growing. Do a lot of cardio run one day then lift the next so pretty much everyother day mix it up also suscribe to a good muscle fitness mag they have a lot of good tips to stay in shape. one important rulenever eat anything that comes out of a bag, chips candy etc... it takes alot of discipline but it well worth it
Hmm, what if the only type of protien that you eat is fish and chicken, is that good too? Or would you have to eat more things?
Fish and Chicken I think are the best because of high protein and not as much fat as lets say steak :shaggy: To get Lean I personally take multi vitamins and eat 5 times a day breakfast cereal and a banana snack like 11ish some fruit lunch 12:30ish a sandwich turkey on Wheat bread snack @ 2-3ish protein bar or shake (thats when I usually finish working out) dinner 6ish ChickenBreast sometimes Steak with a small salad thats my diet and I excercise run like 3 times a week for like 30minutes and go to the gym daily and I do see results cause I stuck to it :shaggy:
thanks all for input, i was wondering though is cheese bad? and is there a certain kind of ham i should be putting in my sandwich? and leanback1977, what kind of protein shake? can you post a url or something so i can see, thanks i know it sounds kinda dumb asking you for that but its just for a reference so i know what to buy
Yeah it's pretty useful i tried it for a month to just build up some muscle but i ened up losing weight in the process , yeah try it out, and if you don't like it you can always quit right, good luck man.
to become Bulky or tank! eat lots and do stretches at the same time.. you dont grow up or wide, you just grow big, if you work your body you will be massive
Anything fizzy is bad news. If you do drink soft drinks, stop all together. I used to drink meybe, 3 coca-colas a day. I replaced it with water, and ive lost so much weight. Heck, i dont even go outside ever and im loosing weight just by givin up soda. But yea, try not to gain too much muscle if your goal is to loose weight.
