    Im going to buy the we nephew a ps2 0r xbox for xmas but which is the best ?

    also is there any good package deals you no for these consoles

    get him a ps2... it has alot more games than the xbox and about 85% of ps2 games are 19.99 or less.....

    actually it depends on how old he is...... i imagine he's like.. 12 or younger... if not... get him a xbox...........

    thanks canvasch , yeh hes 9 was thinkin more the ps2 myself but just need few thoughts from other ppl ;)

    I personally have both and only play the PS2. My son on the other hand likes to play both but plays the PS2 more often. This could be because the choice of games that I have favor the PS2. Also, considering your newfew is only 9 I would suggest the PS2 because of the controller size. The XBOX controllers and system for the matter are both HUGE and will be hard for him to manage. The choice in games are fairly similar and also keep in mind that both systems will be phazed out because of the newer next gen systems coming out this year.

    The XBOX 360 already released and the PS3 also, WII. ;)

    You can purchase the smaller controller, but thats more money and it still can be big for a 9 year old :shaggy:

    get him a ps2 the games are cheaper and games come out sooner whereas xbox you normally have to wait a few months

    Only Xbox's advantage is slightly better graphics than PS2 other than that, your nephew isn't missing out on anything.

    Go for the PS2, still the best deal for games and it's just generally nicer to look at. (haha)
    & Xbox is just Microsoft....No more needed to be said. :lol:

    I love the xbox..and if he was slightyl older i would have said that..but theres more games that would be suitable for a 9 year old..so i'd go for ps2.

    since he is only 9 get him PS2, I am a major fan of Xbox's but ps2 is more kid friendly... xbox is full of FPS and killer games

    agreed, ps2 because of his age. As much as i love Xbox, it wouldnt be suitable for him because of the lack of choice game wise (high ratings).

    got him the silver slimline ps2 2 controlers and 2 games :D
