128 isn't exactly good, but it depends on how old your pc is, but you can buy Ram from a general pc store...

    Like PC World...

And i didn't know you couldn't open controll panel, looks like your only option is to buy more ram.

But, to be honest i think you need to reinstall windows because even if your ram wasnt enough your pc would just run very slow, i don't understand why it won't open, so may need to re-install windows.

For your stuff, put it all in one folder, buy a FTP account, upload it, re-install windows, and download from your FTP space.

FTP accounts can be bought in Shops and Services forum.

    Hope i helped.

Must of been your own fault, they can't delete themselves.

If needed, do a system restore, and go back a few days, or, if there in the recycle bin, restore them.

Since the files is still there, go and buy some RAM. The files will be there still. But I think this is a virus though.

From what I understand, your documents won't open.

    Would you have Norton Antivirus?

All I can see it being, is that you have too many big programs running at once.

press ctrl alt del and go to processes, some programs close but are still actually running, so that might help. i know for sure firefix will do that... some others too
