 Awsome. Great quote. Really truthful. I won't be able to contain myself on saying that if a context for it happens somehow. Again, so so true. You win the thread. -_-

But yeah, smoking? Never. What is the point? Not only it hurts yourself, but you will start to want to have more and more. It should drive you insane in some point. It will consume your health, your friends will warn you, you won't listen, you can see where this is going. Plus, it hurts the pepole around you as well. I have NEVER tried, and I don't intend to do so. It is stupid. I pity you pepole who tried to stop, but can't. I really do. The best we can all do is just reply saying 'Smoking? No thanks.'. It is a very bad addiction. It brings you no benefit whatsoever, infact it hurts you and you can't stop. Hehe. ^_^

Those facts do make me think, but non-smokers just dont realise how difficult it is to give up :(

I have about the same willpower as a broken woman in an Iraqi prison :(

I've been smoking since I was 14 (wow 11 years ago), not the greatest choice I have made in my life but I live with it. I would really like to quit but it's not as easy as most non-smokers think. It also would depend on how long you have smoked and your surroundings. If you have been smoking for years and all your close friends smoke it's hard to quit. It's not because of peer pressure but the fact of wanting/craving one while with your friends.

On a -------positive note, someone posted earlier that smoking has no benefits?

Have you ever had a really bad day and just nothing seems to help? A smoke is great in one of those situations.

Ever had a smoke after sex? ...nothing better.

Ever had a smoke after a big meal? ahhhh....fantasic.

Smoke and Drinking (beer or coffee) go hand and hand.

Ever smoke cigerettes after smoking weed? It enhances your high. :)

Please keep in mind, I am not promoting smoking just stating that there are a few reasons why people smoke. They are not just doing it to kill themselves. I personally enjoy smoking but can honestly say I would like to quit soon. It's been too long...

(after all this talk about smoking) *goes for smoke* lol

Either smoking has lowered your expectations of satisfaction or you have bad taste. Also that list does not benefit you, unless you call shortening your life-span beneficial or advantageous :).

It makes you feel good because your addicted.

    Furthermore, Weed > Nicotine.

Thank you for your time. :D

    Yeah, ---- smoking.

    Chewing tobacco all the way!

Still bad, but I run track and football, so smoking kills your ability to move whereas chew gives you the fulfillment, even though in the long run your gums will go away.

Then again, I won't get to that point so nothing to worry about.

My uncle has been drinking coca cola for about 10 years every single day. He is addicted to it like cigs for people. When he tried to quit it made him sick after about a week of him stop drinking coke then once he was sick he was craving a coke so he drank one. The out come was him feeling much better and to keep drinking coke.
