Here's some of my favorite secrets of the XP OS. I found these in a ebook that I was reading a while back, just thought I'll show you folks what they have. I used most of them, but Im not responsible for what happens to your computer if you decide not to follow the directlions properly. Also, I am not a supporter. But if you need help, holla. I might be able to help you.

You will need WinRAR or a program that can extract .RAR's

Naw folks. I aint into that virus type stuff. If I was I would prolly be rich by now. Its just a .rar with like 6 word documents from an ebook i was reading as i said earlier. Its like tweaks that enhance your computers performance by editing some things in the registry, you know TWEAKs something like that 1 thread on changing recycle bin name. Just tweaks. But if you think its a virus dont download it, I have no other way of proving it isnt except for telling you. So... yea.

Be forewarned, anyone memory 'optimizations' that go through the registry or msconfig dont optimize anything and can decrease performance in some cases.

    actually, some can optimize things...

and from the 30 seconds I looked at the .rar file i didn't see anything outside of a few word documents, so no big deal.

Your correct. It has some of those warnings under the descriptions of certain tweaks.

Just looked over it, very good read for beginners. Though its kind of dated.
