Format?

    Does CTRL + F12 @ bootup format your computer? or is this only Dell's?
    I'm in need of a serious format but i've broken my windows disk <_<

    yes, what he said.

    though, there is a legal way around that..

    if your friend(s) has the same version as you, ex, ---/home, retail/oem, you can use their disk using your serial that came with your computer.

    So no it wont work. You serial number should be on a microsoft sticker on your machine, mmight be on the back of the case, or with the documentation that came with it.

    grr no1 near me knows what one does, and one of them told me to do the CTRL + F12 thingy <_<
