I have had a portfolio on myspace for about a year. Well, two actually... one for music, and one for my modeling. The music port is still just that... for my music. But, after friends started finding the other page, it morphed into a half-portfolio/half-personal page,... which it still is. It's a useful site for networking. But, like any other place online, you have to take it for what it's worth, use common sense, and play it safe.

Dude, I don't have myspace nor facebook. It's a waste of time. I don't see how it's so addicting. Why can't they just talk over AIM, it's faster.

I think it's because kids these days want their own webpages and be connected to their friends at the same time.

Really pathetic when you think about it. :D

i used to have a myspace until i realized people's attitude about it. "omg, you took me of your top 8" or "you should leave me a comment. omg, leave me a comment." i don't get it.... why leave comments on someone's profile when you can just as easily instant message someone? i don't get it.

Okay, now that's just weird. They have really messed up things on myspace. Also, I've read the general audience on myspace is for some reason goths and emos. Don't know if this is ture, but if it is, that's pretty sad.

Most of what I've said in the past was flaming. But I had alot to back it up, first and formost the place supports rapests or else it would have got sued and shut down a few months back. Another was they allow five year olds on and 14 year old girls to show them selves and such. It's's all bull----, they allow way too much. That right there is supporting rape, the fact that a child does that and they allow it to be posted and not deleted is nonesense. And they allow stalkers and others to be on there. They never investigate anything that goes on, the parents are not doing their job. I mean 98% of it is the parents fault. The other 2% is the site owners. I mean the proof is right in front of our eyes. You can't deny that. One more thing, I knew someone that had a page on there and they shut down his page just because he posted news headlines. That's it. That's the reason his page was shut down, that's a fact. That's another thing I can't go without saying, honest people get their page shut down for the most dumb reasons. And then they ahve 14 year old girls naked and they don't get shut down or warned. Does that make sense? I mean come on!

Myspace is fine, a bit overrated but I think it's fine the way it is....yes there have been crimes involving Myspace but it's not the sites fault....it's the kids fault.

I think MySpace is shriveling because of it's own massive popularity. I've never made a profile on the 'social networking' site because I see it as a harboring ground for lots of 'baddies'. ;)
