Help With Opera

    Well i just decided to switch over to opera from firefox, and i was wondering which plugins yall would recommend to make opera better, or what tweaks i should make to make it run the best:) thanks in advance

    I personally don't customise my Opera, I leave it pretty much stock as it comes. I think it runs fine like it is. ;)

    agreed, its much faster then firefox by itself...

    Its already faster than Firefox. Do you really need to speed it up?

    Go TO Preferences or press crtl+f12 to open prefs.
    Advanced tab
    Network in left
    on those last 2 dropdown lists that show up, network connection things....
    set top one to 32
    bottom to 64

    thats all i know..xP

    At one point I had a tut on that, but someone appearantly didn't like it and had it closed in no time. That puts some stress on the servers but I must agree it's faster. I wouldn't suggest going any more than that or you are considered to be a "bitch" to put it nicely, to a server op. =P

    There are probably tons of plugins for Opera, though I don't use many because it already has everything I need. Learning how to use mouse gestures is always interesting though. :P

    There was another thread like it or was it this. Ah, nvm Opera is already fast and you don't need to tweak it too much or it'll crash :P

    There is too many widgets available actually. They give you small applications like extra clocks, calculator, password generator and etc.
