I downloaded the adobe illustrator free trial a while ago, but now I can't remove the msi installer. I've tried deleting it with ccleaner and tried using dr. delete to remove the msi files I saw, but it didn't seem to work. Basically I'm trying to use ill. now, but the tool bar is grayed out and I'm sure it's due to the msi installer not being removed. I've tried to go to control panel>remove programs, but it says this option is only available for programs that are installed or something of that sort.

I lowered the mb to 0 in the control panel next to the ill file, but that's about all I could do. Well, thanks for the help. I did delete msi file in the registry area, but it seemed that the ill icon in the control panel just won't move. I'll fix it sooner or later though, no worries. :)

How exactly do I do that? I can try, as long as it won't mess up my files.
