Alright, I get a phone call from a company that I want to work at. I have 20 minutes to get their for the interview. I get into my 4 month old Toyota Tacoma. It's a beautiful truck. I pull out onto the parkway, and start going the limit of 50 miles an hour. Reading my directions, I take a left and the third red light. I pull into a shopping center to find the store numbers. 5501 is what I am looking for. 6901, 6900, 6599, Wrong shopping center. I keep moving. A car pulls out to the isle, to get onto my road. He doesn't stop, and runs right into the back of my truck. My truck is pushed aside, my head hitting my steering wheel, blood starts to show up on my face. Not wanting to realize what had just happend, I put my truck into park, and step outside. "You hit me man" exclaims the owner of the Beige Sports Utility Vehical that had obviously run into my truck. "...." Speechless, staring at this man 25 years of age, from Honduras. How can he think that I hit him? "How are you going to pay me?" Says the guy, picking up his bumper that fell off of his car. At this moment, I am not thinking straight. "Let our insurance companies decide. I don't think that I hit you." "Look! You hit me! Pay me $200 for my bumper. I have to go!" I start to realize that I am scared ----less. His friends start to realize saying that I hit him, and I have to pay up now. "Wait, I want to get your contact information along with your insurance so we can deal this the right way." I start pulling out a pen and a pencil from the back of my truck from my backpack. I just got out of school. I copy down his liscense plate number as he writes down my information. "I'm going to go call my insurance company, one second." I go back into my truck as he talks with is spanish speaking friends, all of whom will say anything to get their buddy out of any trouble. I dial my parents phone number. "Hello?" replies my mom. "Hey mom? Some guy just hit me. Can you come down and help ?" She says she's leaving at the moment, to my location. "Hey, you hit me, pay me $200 I have to go now!" Urges the Honduran, now I know his name is Jose. He is a short man, about 5 foot 8. He leans up to me, showing his muscles, obvsiouly trying to intimidate me. "Umm one second, my mother is coming, 10 minutes. Just wait ok? We can settle this then." I reply, still wiping my face with a paper towel. "Fine, 10 minutes, you're lucky I let you live". I start to hate this guy. He obviously can not have an accident, or he's in a lot of trouble. Either no money, or no insurance I think. At this time, I sit down into the drivers seat of my truck, and just wait, while a security officer comes down. She's probally 5 foot 6, pale, about 23 years old. Attractive in my eyes. She realizes I am all shaken up about just crashing my almost brand new truck. 1202 miles to be exact. She starts to ask me if I am alright, and I reply that I am fine. She takes a look at the damage, and talks to me and the other driver what exactly happend. I tell her the story, and the other guy declars I hit him. She takes one more look at the damage of my truck, and says "That is a lie. If he hit you, the damage would be near the passenger door. If you look at where you hit this young man, you hit near his rear tire, saying you pulled out into his truck." I was shocked that she could tell that just from looking at the damage. I stood there with utmost respect for her. I start to realize how cold it is outside. 35 degrees Farinheight. Practically freezing. I put my hands into my sweatshirt pockets to keep myself warm. My mom arrives with my grandfather who is a retired Washington D.C. police officer. He is told what is happened, and quickly points out information that realizes that Jose caused the accident, and I was fine. We re-share our insurance cards, and it becomes obvious that his insurance was outdated in 2005. He had no insurance. I now know that I was right about him not having any insurance policy. Once I get most of his information, he runs off. This was my first car accident, and I have been driving for 5 months. Just thought that I would share this with you all.
My Friday the 13th has been good. But tonight just as I right this my mom and dads friend called. Their other friend died from a heart attack going out to dinner. It's a sign of the apocalypse, lol jk. but yah sucks. Never met him though thankfully.

But you later said he is from Hondures (Sp?) and that really sucks i basicly just got back from a crazy football game and we got killed
mine was fine. nothing horrible happened to me. instead i found out i got an "B" in one of my classes!
Sorry to hear about that accident SomeThingCreepy My day was basically the same as every other day, only my family left me alone all day at home and I was bored to tears, had to work on my Java class to catch up all day (very tired of seeing Java anything atm). I actually didn't even realize it was Friday the 13th in October more than once or twice today, it just didn't occour to me Gl with your truck/accident, glad Jose didn't get away with it. And sorry about the job interview =\. Hopefully they'll understand why you weren't there.
